Tony is the CEO of PPG Events, a well-established, trusted and reliable PCO and Event management agency. Over our almost 12 years operating, we have consistently worked with numerous New Zealand’s and Australia’s most respected blue-chip brands. PPG Events have a long history of successfully solving complex problems for our clients, exhibited through our innovative ideas and solutions, which in turn adds a creative flair to enhance the outcomes for our client.

Such solutions are crafted by our powerful ability to understand our clients’ specific needs and challenges, particularly around creating, planning and delivering world-class events.
These include the creation and management of client programs for Global Sporting events including Olympics, FIFA World Cup, Rugby World Cup and Cricket World Cup amongst others.
Tony previous roles include the role of Group Chief Operating Officer for Premier Events Group (PEG) from 2003 – 2010, whereby his focus was towards commercial, operational and financial responsibilities across all programs and for PEG as a whole. Tony established a strong presence for PEG, in particular with his involvement in global events, such as the Olympic Games, FIFA, Rugby World Cup and Commonwealth Games.

I joined the PPG Events team in 2023 with a diverse background over the past 25 years in both the hospitality and sales industries. In my previous roles of Key Account Management and Hospitality, I enjoyed maintaining strong relationships with clients, negotiating contracts, and driving sales growth. Transitioning into the Events Industry where the strategic mindset and commitment to understanding our clients work cohesively together. I find immense joy in the opportunities presented by this industry and the constant diversity and vibrant challenges it brings. Balancing a successful career, I am also mother to two wonderful children, Kaleb and Zoe.  My partner is a Chef so we very much enjoy hosting gatherings for family and friends, where our combined skills in hospitality and culinary arts come to life I thrive in dynamic and demanding environments and I love meeting people along the way!

Having worked in the events and hospitality industry for over 25+ years and for PPG Events for the past 10 years I have been fortunate to manage both domestic and international events. These events have varied from global sporting and cultural events to more targeted intimate incentives, conferences, awards dinners, vehicle launches, painting tours and many more.
Every event provides the opportunity to work with amazing suppliers and clients alike where long lasting relationships and friendships are built which is an added bonus of this role. Nothing makes me happier than to take complete end to end responsibility for individual projects from inception through to final delivery. To see hours, weeks and months of planning come together and watch it unfold before your eyes is what I thrive and live for.

Claudia has been part of the Core PPG Events team since the inception of PPG Events. She has provided significant support to our operations & projects over the years and has an in depth knowledge of the industry .
